| Retreat Programs |
At Spirituality Matters, we offer a variety of experiences designed to speak to the different needs which arise at various stages of our personal, spiritual journeys. On some weekends we explore the basic principles of living a spiritual life, while on others we focus on one or more of those principles in greater details. Some weekends are open to all, while others invite members of a particular group to join with similarly situated people to support them in their journey.
We offer one-day and full weekend retreats, days of reflection and evenings of prayer, as well as other special programs as needs and interests may dictate. We invite you to return to the website often to check our calendar for upcoming events. If you see a program that interests you, but do not see a scheduled date on the calendar, contact us and let us know that you are interested in that particular program – the level of interest helps us to prioritize the scheduling of our programs. Or if you have your own idea for a topic or program that might be worth developing, we encourage you to share your ideas with us.
If you are interested in having a Spirituality Matters team make a presentation to your spiritual, religious, or community group, please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

The Spirituality of Relationships: Finding Peace with God, Ourselves and Others
Whether we always like it or not, our lives are lived in constant relationship
with others. The presence of friends, family, co-workers, members of religious or community groups, and even
total strangers in our lives requires us to offer ourselves, on many different
levels, into relationship with other people. This weekend will give you a chance to look at all those
relationships through the prism of basic spiritual principles, offer some insights into how
those principles can be applied to improve and enhance your relationships, and
break open the relationships with yourself and with God which form the
foundation for intimacy with others and connection to the world in which we
live.
The talks and discussions will focus on such questions as:
You will have an opportunity, in a safe and confidential environment, to explore these and other important questions, and perhaps find a new path to peace with God, yourself and all the people who are part of your life.

Spirituality Matters Comes To You
Spirituality Matters seeks to spread the message of spiritual living as far and wide as possible. Often, that means bringing a retreat program directly into your parish, congregation, church organization, community group, senior home, or prayer group. “Spirituality Matters Comes To You” is currently offering the following program, which can be adapted for your particular needs:
Spirituality: Is That What's Missing?
Do you ever ask yourself, “is there something more to life?” Is everything “ok”,
but you can’t help feel that something is missing? Perhaps you are struggling
with a situation and can’t quite seem to find a way through it? Or are you
simply being called into deeper relationship with God?
If any of these questions touch you, then we invite and encourage you to spend
the day with us as we explore the meaning of “spirituality,” and, through shared
stories, break open what it can mean to live a truly spiritual life.
This popular introductory retreat touches on the core principles of spiritual living, and offers food for thought about life lived in closer relationship with God.
